hi everyone...i know...i'm slack...it's prob been almost a month since my last entry. yay...i'm catching the boat back on fri...and will be in hobart about 5pm on sat. i'm moving into apartment 3. oh...i met a girl in sydney over the holidays who found out whilst i was there that she got into med in tas...i told her to come to fisher and she's coming...her name is katherine ngo...has anybody seen her...i have to look after her...she's a chinese girl...who's really cute. port douglas was excellent...and yes i got a tan...although i can't compete with marcus and his aborginal skin...weird. i went snorkeling on the great barrier reef...it was excellent although i was very sea sick...i spewed on top of a lady whilst she was trying to get onto the boat...damn...the only thing that worked was these ginger morning sickness tablets...damn there's no way i'm getting pregnant anytime soon! sorry renee...i really wanted to see you in sydney. i ended up going to china town at about 12 o'clock and was wondering around before the wedding...damn if only i could have been there earlier to see you. whilst i was in sydney on the weekend...i went out to this really cool gay bar and had cocktails...the music was so cool...they actually had live techno music...and even a trumpeter. anyway...i still have a lot of packing and organising to do before i come back. miss you all...see you soon. |

hi all
well...yet again i am going to sydney this weekend. i'm actually going to a tsunami concert on sat...it should be good. i'm going with friends from uni (usyd). then i'll be home for a couple of days and then i go to sydney again...and then to cairns/port douglas...and then sydney for a wedding and party...and then home...and then in a couple more days...sydney again...and then tassie...yay! yep...that's my life for the next couple of weeks. i just downloaded firefox on my family computer (instead of internet explorer). it's actually really good. apparently you don't get as many virus'. that's what my mum was told anyway. cool. anyway...i soon be talking to you all in person. i think we'll go absolutely ape at the beginning of the year with all the house parties we'll be invited to..hint hint. el. hi everyone. sorry it has been a very long time since my last update. anyways. at the moment i am home. my parents are in hong kong, so my bro and sis and i are running the fort alone. i had a blast in sydney and i can't wait until i go on hols in feb. it looks like i'll be getting back to hobart on the 19th of feb. i did want to come earlier but it isn't going to work out...the boat only goes twice a week from syd. anyway stupid admin will proberly be expecting me to pay for the extra night i have to stay anyway...isn't that rediculous that we have to move in the day before uni starts. anyway...not much else has been happening. el. hi everyone. i'm still at marcus'...but i'm leaving in about 1/2 and hour and going to stay in strathfield for the night. i think marcus is sick of me anyway. he is teaching a kid next door swimming at the moment. i am just entertaining myself before he gets back. i'll be spending the next week at my old uni (usyd) before going home. marcus and i went on a harley ride yesterday...oh my god it was so good. we were doing 130km in an 80km zone...it was crazy...esp in syd were there are lots of speed cameras. anyway, i'd better go and pack my bags. i'll be talking to you guys later. ela. |

hi all
i hope everyone had a very merry and safe christmas. i had a lovely christmas, small and with my family and pop. i got a digital camera..yay!!! i also got my birthday present (Athough my birthday isn't until feb)...a cd player for my car which is getting installed on the 29th of dec...yay!! i'm going to sydney on the 30th...another yay!!! i was coming back to tas on the 13th of feb but marcus' mum is having a surprise birthday so we have to wait until the 18th to go back to tas (i'd prefer the company on the way back ...plus i can see my family for another 5 days before leaving again). anyways, i'll be in contact. ela. i hope everyone has a very very merry christmas tommorrow...yay. my parents told me whilst coming back from church that i'm geting both my christmas and birthday present tommorrow although my birthday isn't until february (and all you guys are going to help me celebrate!). i got a phone call from rob the other night but i wasn't home. i thought it was doc rob but after hearing that hailz also got a call it could have been rob gane...weird. i got a postcard from bron today which is also weird but nice. i feel slack cause i don't have her address to return one (Stupid me left my fisher mag at college in one of my 16 boxes). always have a very healthy and happy christmas. love you all. ela. :> Current Mood: artisticCurrent Music: summer rain |

merry christmas
yay, it's getting so exciting. At the mo I'm siiting eating chocolate pudding and icecream my sister just made me...yummy. (although the top is a little bit burnt). I got my hair cut the other day. The hairdresser cut it a little bit too short, but I'm sure in no time it will grow out again. I don't know if I have told you guys, my parents are going to Hong Kong in January. They should have a really good time (my mum's going to do lots of shopping cause the clothes and stuff over there are really cheap - not that I need any more!) I went to Orange a couple of weeks ago to visit my friends. It was really sad cause their all moving to Sydney cause Sydney university is broke and had to sell the Orange Campus to Charles Sturt University. So I was there on moving day, cause they went the day after their exams - and I had to see them before they moved. Out of all my school friends there are only 2 left in Dubbo. One of them is moving to Canberra with his girlfriend on the 4th of January and I caught up with the other yesterday. Danielle is doing primary teaching a CSU in Dubbo. Actually it really suits her cause she's really bubbly and always wanted to be on playschool. She and I are going to catch up this wednesday after she finishes work and we plan to go out on saturday night. The night life in dubbo is really sad, i've never been but you have to go once in your life. ummmmm...this morning i had to help dad mark some lambs. i was in the middle of putting a ring on this lambs tail and vaccinating it when it pissed all over my t-shirt (so now i smell like lamb pee..eww.) anyway, not much else has happened. l. not much happ'n
well...i don't know about everyone else but i'm counting down the days till christmas. have you noticed that the time before christmas goes really, really slow and then after it goes extremely fast. i'm waiting for that extremely fast part cause then it will be no time at all and i will see everyone again and i won't be bored out of my brain. my 16 year old little sister came home this morning after being at a party with 3 hugenormous hickeys on her neck. i just laughed. sucked in cause she has her src induction ceremony tommorrow and the whole of her school will see them. don't ask me about the guy, the first i've heard of him. i'm really excited cause i'm going to sydney for new years...yay i'll see the fireworks...this time i'm going to stay at marcus' for a week. we'll proberly get sick of each other, you know how we fight (it's sibling rivalry at its best!), but we have to get used to it cause we're living together next year. yes, we finally got confirmation that we are in apartment 3, and are affiliated...yay. not happy though with all the stupid changes and stuff admin have made though. anyway, see you all soon. l. long time
sorry it's been so long since i updated. what a sucker i am? it is good to be home but i really wish that i could have a proper holiday, cause damn it's boring here. dad is harvesting at the moment...and yes i have been running around in the truck and soforth helping him. he wants me to go on the tractor next week to do some ploughing...ahhh. i got my results on fri and to my suprise, i honestly was only hoping to pass, i got a credit for ISF and a distinction for Foundation medical studies. i was esctatic. it's starting to get really hot here...high 30s. i'm not used to it being tasmanian and all. i can't wait to go back. i've been good and been swimming. i joined the local rsl club pool. it's pretty good, and i've been swimming with the old ladies who swim pretty slow, so i don't feel too bad. i cleaned out a trough today with my sister, it was so disgusting. it was filled with black slime and smelt like poo. anyway, i'd better go. oh, renee...my fine didn't arrive...i got my drivers licence though. thankyou so much. i owe you one. if you get the chance can you occasionally have a look for me to see if it arrived? thankyou so much. ela.
